How to get a PC to run a folder of videos full screen everyday at a certain time?

I have a project to make a computer run videos in full screen everyday at a designated time, it a critical part of a much larger project.

The computer will remain switch on and will be a high spec PC, it will be running windows as the video files will be dropped into the folder via a lan network.

Anyhelp and i would be grateful.

What is a VPN?
